Photography is tricky, especially shooting on film. There’s a sense of spontaneous adventure when using film, there’s no way of knowing the end result until you do exactly that, develop the roll.

There’s also a pure quality to film, everything comes back to the fundamental elements of photography. There’s no post production, no editing. The shot is composed in the moment and you can only hope for a pleasing result.

I recently got some film developed from overseas adventures. I use a Lomography Fisheye Film camera with underwater housing. The following are a few from some time spent in the Maldives, and at home of our new Studio space at Artspace8. Check them out!

  1. I love underwater photography. There is something so wonderful about the way light interacts with water.
