One of our favourite neoprene designers, Cynthia Rowley, sporting one of her creations and a couple pairs of fins…
If you`re in the Northern Hemisphere – and specifically L.A., you might wanna head along to tonight`s West Coast opening of SurferDNA – a series of portraits of 39 surfing creatives conceptualised by Italian photographer, Alberto Guglielmi.
The SurferDNA travelling exhibition was created to help raise awareness and capital for the ongoing needs of those most affected by Hurricane Sandy. Alberto describes his concept as, “a visual allegory for the change that occurs when someone becomes a surfer: it doesn`t just affect your life; it becomes part of your DNA. Whether in or out of the water, a surfer`s tie to the ocean is always present.” Amen to that.
